Scout Island Middle School Service Project
Good morning. Hope all is well and the middle school service projects are going well. Thank you for the updates, please continue to provide student project updates.
Keep in mind you are NOT to conduct the service project. You are to make think critically in the service project they selected. You are there to assist and not to make any decisions for them.
The goal of the service project is for students to develop an ongoing service project or club within their school district or their community.
If you need your students to revisit their service project, now is a good time to do so.

Welcome back from spring break!
Things to do:
Events binder needs to be organized chronological order. I already started. It also needs to be in this order:
*Flyer, Agenda, Total #attended, sign-in sheets, special projects.*
There are also other events that need to be tallyed and inserted on the CAP events binder.
I was able to enter all data from FPU, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz. All info was inserted in their respective binders. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me. Also we have Speech and debate coming up havent recieved word but if anyone has any updates please post on here. CAP event binder will be in the back cabinet.

Fresno State M.S. College Awareness data
Today I was able to enter data on the Feb 28th event at Fresno State. There were a lot of assessments that were incomplete. I went through all the assessemnts and entered as much data as possible. I seperated the assesments and labled them into three categories. "completed entered data", "Incomplete assesments" (These are either the post or pre of either the resieliency and/or the A-G that were not completed), the last category was "Missing pre or post". I wasnt quite sure where to store the assements. I went ahead and placed everything back on the event binder along with printed copies of data entered. Please post with feedback and or comments. FAFSA Event
Hello folks. I have been in and out of the office as I am involved in various projects. During your scheduled work time, it is imperative that you focus on any FAFSA materials that Viki or Jennifer have requested your assistance. The event is this Sunday and time is flying by. Master Binder Update 2013
The Master Binder will include all the students applications. Some of the applications are the original applications and others are copies. I am sorting out the applications by districts and putting them in an alphabetical order. So far, I have some missing applications from students that register to an event but never attended or students who attended College Night (with no permission packet). The other set of applications are missing their parent's signature .
I am currently making a spread Excel sheet with the following information
1.Student's Last and First Name
2. District
3. Missing Application YES (they are missing an App) or NO (They only need a signature)
4. Application Packet Page 1, 2, 3 (Indicating where the parent forgot to sign)

Update on M.S. Leadership Presentations
Today Eddie spoke with Jazmin and I. He informed us that the schedules have changed. We are removing the fifth session and also we are now back to having 60+ minute presentations. I am in the process of finishing up the power point presentation on H.S. Planning, High School Transcripts, and A-G. Please feel free to look over the presentation that is located on my jump drive file name: High School Planning, and make any modification that you feel would make the presentation better. A draft will be placed on Eddies Desk, Wednesday January 23 by the end of the work day. Corrections and Modifications will be made on Thursday January 24 and printed out so that materials and supplies are ready to go on Monday January 28th.
